I was thinking the same thing...$500.00 does seem a bit much, but Steve Bollich ( Maykenfornow) is the Maytag expert. Wonder what he thinks?

They are 'trippin.
been there done that ... ... ...
saw them over a year ago, I guess they made it out of the basement, they both need to be completely rebuilt. They work but have issues. They are "sunny yellow" and in good condition but definately not mint or even close. They are indeed old and have been "used". I wouldn't spend a penny over $200.00 and frankly personally, I don't think there worth that.
