Thanks for the good words. The Model G is near pristine and belonged to sellers grandmother. They opted for wood floors and had no need for vacuums. The older Lux was a rebuild by a third party as is the Kirby with a retro fit paper bag. Its the first time I had a Kirby with a lighted lens on the light cover. The model G is nearly silent. You forget how quiet the older machines were after years of listening to the racket newer machines make. I have Luxed the house from top to bottom including curtain rods, light fixtures, lamps, furniture, picture frames, the fridge, kitchen baseboard, the mattress and all the rugs. It was pure joy. I agree with you Terry. The G is my favorite and even though the Tan G is more rare I like the vibrant color of the blue. I have put togther a wand and sheath to replace the aluminum floor wands they were using for the Power Nozzle.
