These are made by Alliance, right? Like Speed Queen? It looks like it is.
Looks like a nice machine...I can't see myself replacing a high line top loader for a new front loader.

i don't understand why are they replacing a very good qualaty washer with a front loader set they should at least wait until there actual set did its time???

Hi there neighbour, nice to see another member from Burnaby BC. My sister has the same machine and loves it. It was probably bought at McIvers as they are the only place I know of that carry the Huebsch machines.

as for them replacing their washer, its matter of preference most times, had I not just bought a set last week, I would have snagged it. They are good washers, but I still would go for a front load anytime, using a front load has saved me a ton on my hot water (electric) As much as I liked the maytag stacked set I had in the apartment here, my electric bill was horrid every month. Clothes dry in a third the time now, and on a 95C wash, the whites are white once again.
Hopefully someone here in the lower mainland will give em a new home...

sure its ok to buy a front loader but the question is the location of the washer permits to leave the door open and is the detergent compartement full of water after a load thats needs to be empty manualy? And another question that they need to answer is the front load set in a closet space or open space all good questions but this is just my tough.

trying to translate your statement here...lets start with the dispenser, is it full of water after a load that needs to be emptied manually.
you have a Duet...you should know that on your own. the water and contents of the dispenser drain as the cycle advance. if the machine did stop mid cycle due to a fault, all one would need to do is remove the tray and clean it out in the sink. the Duet manual makes this clear as well.
as for location...what difference does it make. the Hubesch could easily fit in a closet with a wall mount dryer above it, most front loaders stack. and yes...my closet allowed for the door to remain ajar. so a question to you, what pray tell is your point?

i know it happens after the cycle sometime i need to empty it by hand because there is always a little water remaing inside the bleach dispenser i am sorry for the confusion again i am sorry and i apoligise
