Does anyone know what is the best company to move a washer about 1000 miles? Any idea of cost? How long to schedule a move? Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Bobby,

Run a quote through www.youcrate.com. I've used them a few times to move a washers from MA and TX to Iowa. Worked out quite well, and the rates were good too.

You Crate did OK by me & Greg for the Westy stove recently. Their "cube" size container should provide plenty of room for a washer. You might even be able to get the next smaller size, but off hand I can't remember if it would be large enough for a washer.

Good point Ralph, I forgot to mention that I used 'The Cube' size for each washer transport. Perfect size for a washer footprint to fit inside the tie down hooks on the bottom pallet for strapping.

Ben has the right idea with You Crate. They are relatively inexpensive------- unlike Craters and Frighters.
