I imagine the house did smell wonderful while that cake was cooking. I had never seen that style of cake before. I'll have to try it. I love anything with cream cheese in it.
I would use a whipped cream icing with some vanilla in it and serve the whole thing cold. Served with some nice smooth coffee it would be great.

That looks soooooooooo good, I am going to the store and baking today.
As a Chef for almost 40 years, I hate all these celebrity Chef shows. But I could watch you all day long.
You really have a love for cooking and baking and the proof is in your recipes.
But I also have to say there are many many great recipes to be found here at AW.org.

I agree that AW has been a wonderful resource for great recipes - I can hardly keep up with all the dishes folks share...I always want to make all of them!
For us, cooking is a lot of fun and a way to spend time together. I like to cook and Ralph likes to eat, so it always works out somehow ;-)

I'm going to experiment making this coffee cake in a decorative heavy bundt pan and try my hand at drizzling.

And your recipes. I was talking to my manager in Michigan about your "City Chicken" post a while back. There must be all sorts of different versions of it because what he remembered was similar but different. That is part of the fun of cooking - all the little tweaks and variations along the way.

Made the Cake today
I made this Delicious Coffee Cake with Gluten free flour, Organic Brown and Granulated Sugars, Organic Everything except the Confectioner's Sugar.
Absolutely Fabulous. I made it Gluten Free because my dear friend has a Gluten Allergy.
I think this Coffee Cake will be my New Holiday Gift this year. Thank You Kevin and You will get all the Credit when they tell me how delicious it is.
