CREDA REVERSAIR 37382 DRYER

Picked this up today, it just needed a replacement stat. I have sold loads of these Compact Dryers but i've never used one up until now, well what a fantastic dryer. Super quiet, it can hold far more than it's recomended 3kg load & it dries so fast. So it's goodbye Hotpoint TC71.

I had an Electron a few months back, but it was in a real bad state & it needed far to much work doing on it so it had to go. The TC71P is classed as a ultima but it's basically just an aquarius condenser with a mechanical dial plus it's the worst dryer i have ever had, it's noisy & it takes forever to dry, as for the WM72N ultima washer i'm just waiting to get that fixed.

Damn good dryer!  

 

I bought one in 1999 as a student - wasn't going to put up with clothes on racks in the winter - and ended up giving it to my sister who lived in a flat. Did a very good job until some time in 2008 when it allegedly blew up; had I known about it I'd have had it repaired and brought it here.

 

My mother still has the Hotpoint equivalent TS12 from 1998 - performing as well as ever the last time I used it.

 

I'd hope the design has stayed much the same in the intervening years - I gather the wheels have since been deleted but whether there has been cost cutting internally is unknown (if likely). The equivalent full size dryers certainly don't appear to be as durably constructed by all accounts!

Compact Wheels

Indesit company really have me beat what a stupid thing to do it really annoys me. Especially knowing what the retail price of these dryers are now. The whole idea of having a compact dryer is that it can be moved around easily & what do they do take the wheels off, well it's their loss & White Knights gain.
