non-stick non-China made fry pans

I really like the Paderno products. They have both Teflon like and ceramic non sticks. Several lines made in Canada and others imported. Nice ergonomic handles. As Petek mentioned, buy at one of the several times per year sale events.Paderno quite often has 68-72% off on these sales-North American made at cheaper than China then. Paderno's ultra-premium Professional line apparently aboard Air Force One.

Ralph,

true, I am lucky to have a basement, so when I remodeled, it was easy to run a gas line. At least you do have a downdraft vent. They are great, especially if you grill on the stove. The smoke goes down and out. Not onto your overhead vent, microwave, or cabinets.
Greg, Lodge is bar none the best chicken frying pan there is. Fish also, and breaded cauliflower.
I make it now and then at the shelter where I volunteer. At my age, once a year is plenty to enjoy those foods.
With nice weather finally here, I grill outside more than cook in. It also keeps the kitchen cleaner, with so much outdoor work to do.

Also, anyone close to a Williams Sonoma Outlet store? These are generally really good sales on open stock pieces. Not on the Sets but who the heck can afford one of them??
