It's kind of a long story but here it is: when we got the unit 10 years ago it originally had an ungrounded outlet box mounted on the bottom where the compressor motor and heated butter dish plugged in. I replaced that outlet box, the compressor motor power cord, butter dish power cord and the refigerator power cord with all new, updated equipment and grounded the unit. This new outlet box ended up shorting due to condensation getting into it so I bought all new cords and outlet box and mounted it to the back of the fridge and sealed up the problem area where the condensation occurred with silicone. Before running this unit again full time I wanted to test everything and that's when I found the readings for the compressor motor.
