This project is very simple to do, it took me about 30 mins total to complete, and you can personalize them either by embroidering, monogramming, or even and applique.

Supplies
1/3 Yard Fleece
7 Coordinating Ribbons

Instructions:

1)Cut selvage from fleece
2)Cut fleece into 2 12" squares
3)Make Four 4" ribbon pieces out of each of the 7 ribbons
For a total of 28 pieces
4)Fold Ribbon pieces in half pin raw edges along the edge of the right side of the fleece square front
5)Place the remaining square over the pinned piece and pin.
6)Using a short straight stitch sewing around all four sides leaving a 3" opening for turning
7)Clip corners and turn inside out.
8)Press seams and top stitch 1/2" from the edge (I use a stretch stitch for this task)
9) Give to child your done. Enjoy

LOL, That is why i teach sewing classes in my home, you will not believe the amount of folks that want to know how to sew, especially the younger punk and hip generation, they are very creative.

Puppy Blanket

And if there are no kids, these type of blankets work well for animals too. A few years ago at a company I worked at we started a quilting club and made a baby quilt. I found a bunch of fun Vegas gambling fabric and made the quilt for the Doberman here. He used to love to drag it around and snooze on it.

Now is the time to start those sewing projects for the Holidays!

Yes and the Fabric store

Have their Holiday print fabric on sale, and i just now finished a gorgeous quilt that took me all of 2 weeks to complete, a little here a little there.
I love to sew, and create things, not to mention take things around my home and redecorate them. It's a pass time for me, takes your mind off things.
