I am just devestated, but holding up for my family. I had to pull the plug on my dad's resperator and then euthnize our family dog the same day, as she was sick as he was.

I love this site and usually contribute but this has got me.

My deepest sympathy.

X2

One death at a time is overbearing as it's. I can't imagine 2.

Hang in there and remember the good times.

I'm so sorry . . .

Either one is a great loss, but having to do both in a short time is just unimaginable. All that can be done now is to remind youself that both your dad and your dog are beyond pain and suffering, and that any delay would have only prolonged their pain. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your fmaily.

I am sorry for both your losses. I can only imagine what you must be going through and I wish you and your family strength and peace.

God bless,
James

Double Whammy

That's rough. You have every reason to feel down in the dumps about these events. Just remember: things can only get better.

Your dad is finally at rest, as well as the dog.

The job of the living is to live until our time comes, as well.

I am sad to read this post, be kind and patient with yourself. What a dreadful day. alr2903

Is never easy to deal with losses, but two at a time is awful.

Draw on your inner strength and the strength of support that others offer and you will surprise yourself, but just as importantly, smile as you remember happy times and little quirky things about both....

Thinking of you...

Chris

I will keep you and my family in my prayers.
May your love ones rest in peace and may you
be able to hold on to the best of times with
them in your memories.

Peace and Blessings.
