Danby? They make a twintub but almost nobody sells them

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

sometimes you have to consider the 'input' you get from places like craigslist....

for most of the areas I check, there are Haier and Danby's that people are trying to sell or get rid of all over, there has to be a reason.....what is hard to find, and when it does show up, its gone in minutes....Avanti

notice the same thing for dishwashers lately, GE's all over the place.....hard to find, UltraWash or KitchenAid's........makes you wonder why so many GE's are being replaced/sold at give away prices....

Thomas, I bought the Panda 45 twintub. Remains to see how it holds up, there's very little to go wrong, 3 switches and 3 motors. TTs are very flexible. Attention-intensive, but retired I'm short of things to do and extra short on productive things to do.

well, if it lasts 1 year it will be ok.....

Again, the machine is cute.

Darryl, remember the first thing to do in L.A. is our tour to the supermarket to buy pop tarts and a toaster? Forget it! The first thing is finding a store that has this little machine and buy my first stock of laundry aditives...

Please starts saving your dirty clothes one month earlier.

Well, we can eat 1 or 2 or 20 boxes of pop tarts while i watch the first load being washed...

New Twin Tub Washers

As cool and practical as these once were there is almost NO MARKET for them in the US and probably much of the western world. Maytag found this out in the 1970s, MT could barely give away their TTs once compact automatics showed up.

I would not trust a new Danby or probably any other new TT you find in the US today,.
