And a thoughtfully conceived and executed video it is!
If I had the time, I'd love to make a similarly-styled parody video gently poking fun at the length of cycles on a modern front-loader, like the mammoth LG pair that washes 24 lbs. of clothes in a single load.
Picture it: The user sets the controls for the longest cycle at the heaviest soil level, choosing every conceivable time-consuming option---prewash, steam, sanitize temp, extra rinse---then goes off to other tasks. He paints a room, then goes out to mow a huge lawn, then is shown wrapping a gigantic stack of Christmas presents, cutting back to the washer tumbling away interminably after each scene change.
When the machine finally buzzes at the end of the load, he returns to transfer the load to the dryer, his hair grayed and face aged.
It would be hilarious!

Isn't there any way videos submitted to the sites be "locked" somehow so someone else can't paste and copy them?Think this should be done.
The hijacker's entire account looks suspicious. YT should delete the whole profile.

I bet this happens all the time. It was just blatantly obvious in this instance. How does one go about reporting this to YouTube?

I think this is the very reason
you often see watermarks on videos.......so that even if someone downloaded the video, and re-uploaded it to their channel, it has the original uses name stamped on it.......of course, it would take away from the video unfortunately.

Happend to me as well. YouTube has an online form to fill out and the copied video will be gone soon. Don't know if the person who copied it will be warned or anything.
What happened here is still harmless. A friend of mine had a beauty channel on YT on which she also presented fashion. Some pervert downloaded a video of her, in which she wore a knee-long skirt and, heaven forbid, thighs and uploaded it to an adults-only platform. The guy added text and a female voice to the video, encouraging the male viewer to... enjoy himself... while watching that s--t show off her "nyloned legs" and to come* on her legs, as she would enjoy that so much - so that voice said. (*you get what I mean)
Now, THAT was really bad. It was only brought to her attention because a Facebook friend saw it - after 5000+ people had seen it already. It was taken down within 24 hours but the law suit took months. She also deleted her financially successful YT channel.

the most Youtube is gonna do is take down both videos, they really don't want to be involved unless its something serious, and their forced by law to do so....
they wont get in the middle of a dispute, or weigh sides....back a while someone wanted my name, and they kept pushing the issue, all YT would comment if this guy pushed the issue, they would remove both our names, and it would not be allowed to be used by anyone else...we could signup again, but under a new name...
they may knock this person out, just like ebay, but that person can get a whole new IP address and come back again and do the same thing......
the only recourse for something like this is to hire your own lawyer, and seek restitution....which can cost money and time....and you may still end up with nothing...just the way it is....
best thing, if at all possible, is to post your screen name in the actual video, its the only proof that it belonged to yuo....
