Someone else posed a TY-D-BOL question. To avoid topic drift, I'll post mine separately.
Does anyone remember DAYS-EASE?
This was a toilet-bowl cleaner that had a glow-in-the-dark daisy (hence DAYS-EASE)that stuck out of the tank. You would have days of ease with this automatic toilet bowl cleaner as well as a glow-in-the-dark daisy to cheer up your moments on the throne. Makes you just want to shut off the lights as you void.
Of course I had to make my Mom buy one. This was the 60's. After it was exhausted I took the daisy apart to see what made it glow. I popped the glowing goo out of it like a zit.

Wow that brings back memories. It was about the same time as TyDBol but was a plastic sack with blue powder in it and a hole near the top. You put it into the toilet tank...it filled with toilet water and let a little out every flush. The wire which looped over the edge had the fake daisy on it with a capsule of lemon scented goo which you poked with a pin to scent the bathroom.

Seems so tacky now. Do we have anything in the stores quite so silly as that gadget?
