Circulating vinegar.  2nd time in 13 years (or maybe the 3rd time).  I should do it once per year but always put the task off much longer than reasonable.  The original flow-meter went bad probably due to accumulated mineral residue.  I'd like to run the unit for a bit to heat up the vinegar but I'm afraid of disaster if I try that.  Hope the el-cheapo pump continues to work.

This is the first time I have seen someone de-liming a flow through water heater. Overhere our water is not very hard, but not soft either. But flow through water heaters never get descaled. Almost all of them are gas water heaters, but still. In Germany you see electric flow through water heaters more. But they are so cheap and they last so long that I don't think anyone ever descales them. But if so, I'd love to know.
