Guys, if anyone has a centrifugal motor switch for the Stream of Heat dryer series, please let me know. New or used, doesn't matter as long as it works. Believe it or not, my parents are still using their circa '77 Maytags and I'd like to keep the dryer going. Ben was kind enough to supply a HOH switch but it's just different enough that it won't work. Any leads are appreciated.

Thanks,
Cory

Centrifugal Switch For A MT SOH Dryer

Hi Cory, which motor do they have in their dryer, MT used WH, GE and Emerson motors and they all have different switches, and depending on the problem you are having with the motor you are often better off changing the complete motor, in any event I may have the part or motor you need, just let me know.

Thanks John- Looks like it's a GE switch. Ben and I were just talking about how these dryers typically come out of the woodwork around here but we seem to have hit a dry-spell. I'll do a little more searching, maybe I can find something locally.... -C
