Got a funny phone call today from my nutty sister. You may find this funny too. She has a Kenmore HE2T washer.
So she calls and asks me how to get the black residue out of the detergent drawer in her washer. I said take it out and rinse it clean in hot water. Maybe add a little bleach to the water. She said "It's a hard residue, I don't think it's mold.
I said "Then what could it be?" Her answer "The All Pods I am using don't ever dissolve all the way and while the detergent gets used the POD plastic case stays in the detergent drawer and leaves a residue behind! I asked her "Doesn't that clog up the detergent drawer?" She responded "Yes it does but I use a screwdriver to poke a hole in the residue every now and then!"
I asked her if she read the instructions on the detergent package? I told her you put the pod in the washer then add the clothes! The Pod does not go in the detergent drawer! Her response? "Well if it's a detergent, why don't you put it in the detergent drawer first?"
Some people!
