Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

That Whirlpool dryer looks very well taken care of. By the appearance of the drum, it has evidence of very low use too. Owner probably used the clothes line much more than the dryer.

That early 806 Maytag washer still has the original style agitator. Better hope it never needs to be removed. Dryer should have the early wirewound baffles if it hasn't been upgraded to the newer style.

WP and MT Dryer

That WP dryer is the last of the 2 speed blower models, probably built in 1965-6. Dan didn't the first Power-fin MT agitators still have a replaceable aluminum spline ?, I know they can get stuck but if the agitator comes out without the spline a new one can be installed. The ad for these MTs says the dryer is 1972, it should have the bar style sensor baffles by this time.

4th Electric Sink...

Just acquired my Fourth electric sink in two weeks. A youngstown... YAY but i think it is missing the motor/pump :(

Yes, that's correct. The same A4731 spline used on the E/J/N wringer agitators. The spline can be had by Phil, but finding someone with the tools and knowledge to extract and install the spline might be a bit of a chore.

Whoops, I didn't even read the ad. I assumed the dryer was a match to the washer through and through.
