Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I thank people are getting tierd of the shallow water washes the top loaders are
presenting.
So people spoke and there is the option
for more water like all machines should
give you and option.
I have no idea how high is set with this
machine ...but I assume as high is in any
new BD Whirlpool made machines.

Great to see a deep wash water feature is back, I guess that for energy star rating they don't use Heavy duty cycles on test, just like here in Europe they only use Cottons 40 & 60. I bet thats how they can add the deep water level wash to Heavy duty, as these wont get tested, and therefore they still energy star rated, while consuming more water than US state allows on washers these days?

BTW: Whats the temperature difference between cold, darks cool, lights cool, warm? Surely there cant be much difference, but also what happened to warm rinse, and extra hot settings?

Extra hot? You can't even get plain hot nowadays. My sister just complained about her new Roper not giving hot water. I told her she will have to turn the cold water valve off to get hot which is what she is doing now. On some washers you can't even do that cause the ATC will turn the water completely off it it's too hot.

New Commercial BD WP Washers

This s a good sign that WP is using the new VMW machines in commercial applications, I think that after a few bugs get ironed out of the VMW machines that these may be the most reliable top load washers that WP has EVER produced, now if only they would stop overcharging for control boards.

Wash Cycle

Wonder what the wash cycle timing will be like in a commercial machine. As I seem to remember complaints that these machines fussed about trying to decide what to do next.

The water level makes me wonder. Its sad its only for the Heavy Duty cycle, the delicate could use it as well. One is much better off getting a BOL model that actually has the manual select pressure switch.

The whole Maytag line is now a marketing gimmick to get you to a "higher more featured" model or brand.

I cant imagine the commercial machines being as fast as the DD, but if they are or the time is shorter I probably would take one if I had to over the regular BD.

deep water

the deep water option just adds more water if the machine senses a medium load it will fill to a large setting instead thats all it does
if the machine senses a large load it will fill right up to the max instead of to large

dont blame whirlpool or matyag or whirlpool's subsidiaries if there were not strict water usage rules and regulations appliance manufacturers would not have to make crap simple.
in the Caribbean here we dont worry about that i mean we get water from reservoirs that rain refills or from the sea trough a desalination plant ....a washer needs water when they figure that out maybe they will stop with the energy restrictions ...
