the deep water option just adds more water if the machine senses a medium load it will fill to a large setting instead thats all it does
if the machine senses a large load it will fill right up to the max instead of to large
dont blame whirlpool or matyag or whirlpool's subsidiaries if there were not strict water usage rules and regulations appliance manufacturers would not have to make crap simple.
in the Caribbean here we dont worry about that i mean we get water from reservoirs that rain refills or from the sea trough a desalination plant ....a washer needs water when they figure that out maybe they will stop with the energy restrictions ...
