Deep Fill Washers

How much longer will deep fill TL washers be offered on the market? I'm seeing fewer models with a deep fill option, and it seems like real agitator (instead of a post on impeller) models are just limited to a few BOLs.

I have a feeling all deep fills will go away, and the post on the agi will always be for show and no action.

Post on impeller is  not "just for show." It reduces tangling.

Hitachi washers sold in Australia in the 1980s changed from small flat impeller to large flat impeller with a centre post, the washing was greatly improved and tangling reduced. These were still deep fill machines.
