They are called..........

Turtle Cake Volcanos. They also have caramel, pecans and chocolate chips on the inside. I do a 8 x 13 version. I wanted to change it up a bit this year. SO i did these 6 little bundts and also a large bundt.
Momma bundt and the bundettes. HA

Tom, incredible. And I"m starving due to medical issues right now, but they all look soooo mouth-watering tasty. Please send me the recipe, I'll omit the pecans cuz I can't have them. Whenever I"m invited to a potluck or whatever, I make sre I take a dish or two of something I know I'll be able to eat. Deserts are particularly a challenge. Bob

Here ya go Bob

1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix, prepared as directed

Bake ½ of the batter in a lightly greased 9x13 pan at 350º for 15 minutes

Melt together the following:
14 oz. Caramels
½ cup evaporated milk
1 stick of butter yes, REAL butter

Pour melted mixture over cake. Sprinkle with the following:
1 cup chopped pecans
1 12 oz. pkg. Semi sweet chocolate morsels

Add the remaining batter and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes

Kraft Caramels work best. You can save some of the caramel mixture to drizzle on the cake and then add a few whole pecans and choc. Chips for FLAIR !

To make these 6 little bundts and the one large bundt I doubled the recipe.

Just in time for the holiays!

Tom:

You couldn't have posted a more beautiful, delectable looking dessert! I've got my coffee cup right here! Could you e-mail me a slice? LOL

I will definitely try your mouthwatering recipe, even if it goes right to the hips! You only live once, right? :-)

The lady Kenmore.....

I am afraid the Lady has sprung a leak. This may be a winter project for me. We'll see, my motivational skills are somewhat lacking. At work they work great. When I get home, I basically shutdown.

LOL @ Toggle !

Hey Mister !
Point A. We are talking about my:
Sears Lady Kenmore Automatic Dishwasher with Hygienic Rinse THE FREEDOM MAKER
Point B. If the washing machine goes out.....I would not be talking about it being a winter project LOL ! I would be telling you about my new washer and dryer (ala credit card, argggg) in the Deluxe forum
point c. SLAAAAAAAAP pay attention boi ! :) who luvs ya baby ! :)

Yow!

Tom, I made the bundt version of your cake and brought it in to work today.

Big hit!

This is the kind of cake I love to make--looks impressive but was actually very little work. Unwrapping all those damn caramels was the hardest part!

Couldn't find German chocolate, so I used a chocolate fudge cake mix. I think with that, I'd use milk chocolate chips next time.

veg, who's currently experiencing quite a sugar buzz

Unwrapping...........

I love it Veg ! glad that it was a hit! Everyone is always requesting me to make that cake for everything. Unwrapping those caramels will drive you to the edge. I invited a friend over this year to help me out in the kitchen. I gave her that job. It was funny ! We both decided Kraft should sell caramels in one huge block for baking needs.
Again, glad that it was a hit !

Did someone say

King Arthur Flour, in their 'The Baker's Catalogue"

DOES offer Merckens' caramel in 18 ounce and 5 pound blocks.

If I could link directly to that page, I would, but I am not adept. Here's the catalogue link:
