OHHHHHH

That looks good!! But I would love the Swordfish too!!!I hardly ever fix fish, it is too expensive, at least around here, but I do enjoy it!

Dinner

Great looking dinner Rich, much healthier that the crock pot roast that you did last time, Hans the extra cost of eating fish over red meat usually turns out to be well worth it, I want to see all you guys around for a LONG time, I am tired of going to funerals.

Im afraid...

i fix good food, but not usually very healthy food, im a true southern cook, I still season vegatables with fatback, although of late i have been trying to use olive oil more.

Very Nice!

Looks like a balanced meal to me! And tasty too, would you mind sending some to me in the post? (Make sure its freeze-dried and packed full of preservatives, Lol).

Although, eating Red Meat is still okay I think (But in MODERATION, like everything). Perhaps if you tried Horse Meat... We have Kangaroo here in Australia, which is a fairly lean meat, and pretty tasty too, if my memory serves correctly.

Looks GREAT!

and healthy! I've heard that you can get rid of extra salt intake simply by drinking lots of water (which most people don't do)

We love swordfish! Just put some olive oil on it with some lemon juice and throw it on the grill for a few minutes until it's done. It's a fish that doesn't really taste like fish. The consistency kind of reminds me of a pork roast.
The only thing is that Swordfish is not always available and when it is it is pretty pricey.

terriyaki contains a lot of salt.

Hey Louis, I left out that it was home-made terriyaki- probably 1/4 the sodium that's found in reduced-sodium store brands!

Hans- don't overlook frozen as not all of it's bad. We get most of the swordfish ($7.99/lb) and salmon (have gotten the ahi tuna too) at Trader Joe's, frozen and cryovacced (sp). Though with it being Lent now, the supermarkets are fighting to get you in for the fish on sale then soak you for the rest. Price Chopper had the salmon on sale for $5.99/lb, and that piece was 2/3 of a pound before the skin was removed (probably 0.6 after). Big enough piece for me!

washer111- sorry, ate it all!!

Thanks, guys. Here's last night's meal. Stir fry! Marinated pork tenderloin chunks, red bell pepper, celery, onion, snow peas and toasted cashews. We had it over some jasmine rice. Yum!
