Dionne sings Dionne vol. 2

I finally bought this CD. It was expensive (about $50) but it is a great CD. Dionne is a fantastic artist, and even with her weathered voice, is still worth listening to.

actually i love dionne too, she may be tempermental but what great star isnt!? and her voice is just beautiful! all those burt bacharach songs she sang!!!! she was born to sing them!! she's a star and she is one classy broad, at least in my book!!!

one of my all time favorite songs she sang was the theme to the valley of the dolls! i love the movie too! classic 60's!
even patty duke has finally come to appreciate it for what it was!

50 bucks may be expensive but if you love her music, why not!

We saw her perform here in Houston back in the mid 80's at a small, rather intimate venue (Arena Theater). In the middle of her set she started going off on white people how they were ripping the black people off. We were shocked! It was way below her dignity to do this to a captive audience.
After that incident I really haven't liked her very much, but I DO like her music. I have been listening to her since "Windows Of The World" back in 1967 or so.
