I can't believe you conjured up First Choice. That is one of my all time favorite songs! I always wanted to buy that record, but have never found it in the shops.

Back in 1973 a group of us went to a humongeous dance bar just north of downtown Chicago. I think it was in an old mansion. We had the time of our lives. But I wasn't there more than a few minutes and I realized that is was a mixed crowd. But they played that song and the beat just set the mood to the place. I never have seen a place that wild ever again!

I have quite a collection of High N'R'G' music from the era. In fact, I think I listen to it more than the modern crap we have today.

One of my favorite disco songs, but I was "forbidden" to buy the record probably because it had the word "Body" in it (and we all know it's such a dirty word lol)

And then

My mom turns around and lets me buy this 45.. (WTH?)

First word out of the singer's mouth? Body

Room filling sound

I've kept my original stereo and speakers all these years and listing to this thread and my livingroom redo I'm thinking I just might haul it all upstairs once again. I can't crank it up as much as I'd like down here in the rekroom without getting feedback clipping or something but up there I could rattle the walls and ceiling

Guys I think the best all time Disco Songs are:

"Loving Is Really My Game" by Brainstorm
" You Make Me Feel" by Sylvester
" High on Your Love" by Debbie Jacbos
" Don't You Want my Love" by Debbie Jacobs
"Vertigo" by Dan Hartman
"Crank it Up" by Peter Brown
"Can't be Love, Do it to Me Anyway" by Peter Brown
"Paradise" by Change
"After Dark" by Patti Brooks
"Rock Your Body" by The 202 Machine
"Work Me Over" Clauja Barry
"BreakAway" By Watson Beasley

To name a few.....

DUMBEST Disco Songs

Born To Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez
Vamos A La Playa (Let's Go To The Beach...I can't remember who sings this one. Even the video totally sucked)
