I actually tried to reach out to the guy who has all that stuff and various parts, mentioned he probably has a timer for my Whirlpool somewhere but haven’t heard back in about 2 weeks. Even reached out again not too long ago, haven’t heard anything. Either flaked out, or is no longer interested.

Looks like I’ll have to get those consoles from Daniel in Colorado who parted out that one ‘77 Mark 18 set. Really am reluctant to alter my Whirlpool’s originality, but have no other choice since I can’t seem to find a replacement timer, even the repair attempts haven’t really done anything on top of over investing over 20 hours of timer into that timer.

Maybe if someone has ‘64 Mark XII parts, could go that route but I am doubtful anyone here in the group has ‘64 Mark XII consoles, let along a timer from one.

But the real gem is the washer tub block. Impossible to find and invaluable for transporting washers or working on the transmission pulley/brake package area.

Direct drive washer. Easy way to tell if it’s a belt drive or direct drive is by the width of the cabinet, if the washer is 29” wide, it’s a belt drive. 27” wide would be a direct drive.

Though, the early 80’s 24” belt drives and direct drive had the same look, which makes identifying them a little tricky, especially when no one gets a picture of the tub or with the lid open.
