dishwasher depth question

The Die is Cast.....

OK, we wimped out and went for a GE 18" dishwasher. The price was right, it seemed like a good quality machine, and when and if we decide to rip the kitchen up, it will go to the basement and live behind the bar. With so many other projects, we just didn't feel up to any drama involving the cabinets ;-)

In the meantime, the Mobile Maid has been called into action (that KA was just too huge.) I find that if I just put one of those dishwshing tablets in the silverware holder, it solves the problem of the tricky soap dispensor (which is missing it's little metal band to make it open up.)

Thanks to everyone for your advice and assistance during thie dishwasher drama. I promise pictures once the dust settles.

Serendipty? Kismet? Clearence?

Well, things changed again: Yesterday we were wondering around Lowes, and found a Stainless Steel Bosch that had just been put into clearence (custom order, wrong color) so we snagged it and will be attempting to demo that cabinet later this week.

Granted, it's the Lowest Bosch there is, sold exclusively at Lowes, but it looks nice ;-)

We also have to demo another cabinet to put the flair in, but that's a whole other story.

Your new Bosch Dishwasher..

I sure hope you love your Bosch as much as we love ours. We are on our second. They are great performers (at least mine have been) and just about the quietest I've (never) heard.
