Hey everybody. For all you scent freaks out there like myself, what are your favorite dishwasher detergent fragrances? I love Cascade's citrus breeze scent. I also love the Finish Ultimate Clean and Shine's fresh scent. I also like the mountain scent of the platinum+.

None. Much of the appeal of food is related to its aroma. Dishwashing products should NOT leave a scent on dishware and cookware.

Research fragrances and you'll find most of them are toxic and cause cancer(s), as well as other health issues. Hard pass.

One of my favorite scents is lemon, so I love all of the Lemi Shine products. I don’t notice the scent after the dish washer cycle is complete.

I like my Kroger brand Diamond Finsh, which by now has some also good Simole Truth, also a Kroger brand, scents... These are in almost-edible tablets... (But do not eat!)

I loved the cascade from the 70's when I was little.
If the dishwasher is doing it's job--------
then any trace of the detergent has been rinsed away at the end of the wash cycle.

This lemon scented Smartly powder just arrived today. It has a lemony, European washing powder type of a scent. I love the scent of laundry powders like Henkel “E”, and this scent is sort of like that, but more lemony.
The reviews on the Target website are mixed, so we’ll see. If it’s terrible, I have my handy bag of STPP from Amazon that was recommended to me on here.
Can’t wait until I have a full load of dishes, so I can try it:

I'm old school when it comes to fragrance in my dish soap and dishwasher detergent. I prefer original Dawn, and the chlorine scent of Hytron for the dishwasher.
Dishwasher detergent doesn’t need a fragrance.
I find that Finish and Fairy (Dawn) are too overly and unnecessarily scented not to mention overpriced. I usually use own brand detergent from Lidl or Aldi which perform extremely well for a fraction of the price, and leave no fragrance behind.
