These have just popped onto the shelves in Australia also, I was wondering about the quality of it, I don't think I will try them as the only scent they have is this terrible Lavender which im not a fan of :-/

Bought the lavender and fresh linen varieties today. In the packet the lavender smells overpowering, washed a load of towels with it and there was no smell at all. The Fresh Linen smells like Blue Bold, still to try it on laundry but am not hopeful for a fresh smell. As for cleaning ability I will try them on some dirty stuff tomorrow.

Marthalover, I did like that on the first rinse my wash did not show any suds, will update you all on how it performs. I love the idea of these sheets, mind you I loved the idea of Method detergent and that was less than satisfactory!

What is Method?

Laundry sheets disappeared from the German market in the end of the 1980ies, when P&G's "Top Job" was discontinued... I loved to use them, it was a time when liquid stain boosters weren't seen yet like nowadays the "Ariel" range of stain removal products.

Well, I've done a few loads with the Dizolve sheets, they are ok but was disappointed they don't leave any smell on the laundry. Cleaning wise I would say they are great for lightly soiled laundry but I am just going to stick with Halo liquid, that's great on tough stains and is anti bacterial.

I don't fancy these ultra concentrates

I don't believe that 40 ml or so can do the whole load... @paulc Antibacterial detergent? Is that necessary at all? If you wash at higher temps, bacteria shouldn't be a problem... Cold wash is a bit of bullcr*p, me thinks.

I originally bought Halo for Hubby's cycling gear and water proofs. He cycles 10 miles a day,the cycling gear gets pretty grotty and it can't be washed at high temps, it's also great for trainers and canvas shoes. I liked Halo so much I use it pretty much on everything as it really is a great detergent, plus it's pretty good value at £3.99 for 25 washes. Of course I use powder on whites. Cycling gear and waterproofs get washed at 30deg but all other laundry gets washed at 40deg, 60deg or 95deg depending on what the load is.

OK, I see.

If it can't be washed at higher temperatures you need a powerful detergent for sure.

Mind the environment!

Are phophates really necessary? I think you can't leave them in dishwasher tablets but we're washing phosphate-free for over 25 years now...

Dizolve

Are they for coloureds, too? Can't find anything about it besides they state that they're non-bio...

You can order it via their website

But - as always - they won't ship to Germany, I bet. Brit superstore doesn't offer them yet...

Oh,

That's a pity. Halo are still trying to get a foot hold in the UK market, only two supermarkets stock it in Edinburgh and they only sell the Sports Wash. I ordered Halo Liquid, Halo Heavenly Soft and the fabric softener. To be honest, apart from a slight difference in smell, I didn't think the ordinary liquid or the Heavenly Soft differed much from Halo Sports. They all rinse out very well and I have actually stopped using softener ( apart from woollies )as I use the dryer all the time now.

I must say, one thing I did like about the Dizolve sheets is they rinsed out very well in our soft water.

I'd love to try them myself

But I think I'll have to use three sheets in our seven kilos toploader... Don't know how concentrated they are...
