Necessary to Replace Other Components?

Is it just a matter of replacing burners and elements or would I need to replace other parts and wiring?

I looked everything over and here is what I found:

Thermostat: 120/240
Oven Selector: 125/250
Pushbutton: 120/240

Newer Red/White Wire: 16 600v

Newer Thermostat Black Wire: 14 600v
Newer Thermostat White Wire: 600v 18AWG

Thanks again so much!
Heather

The model number for the burner element is GE298B561....not sure what that’s rated for n I can’t find any info when I search for it.

The baking element has been replaced, broiler looks original.

Heather,

The only thing that would need replaced for the voltage change is the elements.

There may be a voltage/wattage marking on the surface elements supports, but maybe not as it seems like you looked it all over.

Changing An Older GE Range From 208 to 240 Volts

Yes you only need change the elements, it looks like two top elements and the bake element have already been changed so you are probably OK there.

Ā

GE has not sold 208 elements for this range in over 30 years so it is likely that the replaced elements are all labeled 208-240 volts which is OK for 240 volts.

Ā

All the elements on this range are labeled, you have to look closely to see it, If it only says 208 volts those are the ones you can not use on 240 volts.
