I don't remember if anyone has addressed this product yet or not so I figured I'd give a review. i have been using Premiere professional dishwasher powder for a few years now and am very pleased with the results. I prefer chlorine based cleaners. Well I've been seeing Ultrashine at Dollar Tree for a while now and decided to just get a box to try. The ingredients say it has sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate, which I know to be chlorine. I've done two loads with it so far and it has cleaned well. The dishes don't feel etched, more of a "velvety" feel like when I use JetDry. I opened the door when it first began washing and could smell the chlorine in it. I don't know if I'd use it all the time but in a crunch it works just fine.

Can confirm this works great, until it clumps! Had cooked on soil still and cloudy dishes upon using the clumped part.

Also glass etching takes many many cycles before any glass is dissolved. It won't show up immediately although hard water stains will show immediately.
