I have a Wascomat W73 commercial Frontload washing machine that was made in 1974. It has a door lock solenloid that engages when the machine is started and the door is closed. My question is: Are there any frontload washers made before 1974 that do not have door lock solenoids(besides the 1947 Bendix that I have)? I know you guys and gals in the UK have a lot of FL machines, I especially encourage you to please help me with this one. And of course everyone else can chime in also.
