Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Newer

I believe this is the newest one. I have that missing red knob in the kitchen, should have put it on before the pic. As you can see these need a good cleaning, amongst other work I am sure. The red filter was too much for me to pass up!

WOOHOO!!! Those are beautiful Easys; congrats Don! I also notice that both are "rinse cone equipped", and that lint filter is is just too cool! Is it just me, or does the newer machine have a smaller wash tub than the older one?

That "helmet-cap" white agitator is just awesome; it gave the best performance in Roger's Easy. Lots of "ker-sloshing" and Smackulation with that one! It will also be interesting to see how the black agitator performs as well.

Thanks for posting!

Easy Spindirer

Jet Cone love your Easys. My mom had one when us kids were very small and she loved it. One thing when rinsing in the extrator not ot over flow it which can happen very easy. You can process alot of clothes in a short amount of time with no special plumbing just roll it up to the kitchen sink and away you go. Have fun with your new toys. DanF.

You'll have a ball

Twin Easies--same here

You and they may become inseparable, like me and mine.

Someone mentioned overflowing in the extractor or spinner as Easy people call them. Try to get the spinners out. If they're stuck, you've got a problem. Finally I can help someone on this site. I'll guide you thru it if need be. Here's why. The amazing drain--wait till you see the metal arch surrounding half of it--can become clogged with lint, a process which may take forever; but when it does, imagine a unimatic throwing its water with the whole lid off. YAY, but here comes a New England flood. You have to take the spinner out to clear the drain.

When Easy says: "Precision Engineering since 1877," they mean it, as you'll see as you start to fathom its fabulous structures and secrets.

What fun machines Don, Used the one that Ross and Roger have in Tucson. It is amazing how much laundry you can get done in a short amount of time with this machine. Great washing action as well. Lots of water drama with the changing of clothes from one tub to the other. You will enjoy using these. Great fun at a wash-in!! Congratulations. Terry

I have not had much time other than to plug them in. One spins and does not agitate, I have not looked under her skirt to see what is up with that. The other just hums. With two machines I have some extra parts which is good but I am not sure how much work they will need. These will be fun machines to tinker with out in the garage now that it is nice outside. I saw these a couple weeks ago at an estate sale that I was not going to go to, but I was on my way home and it was within a couple of blocks from where I was so I stopped. Luckily the move from the basement was only 1/2 set of steps and straight out the door!

Frigi--are you home tonight? ROBERT, HERE'S THAT FILTER!

A while back when Robert restored the Easy Automatic, I talked about a lint filter, which I hoped was not a hallucination. And there it is in your photo: RED-- mine was GREEN, but it's made for the Easy Spin. You swing the DRAIN/SUDS RETURN faucet all the way in, over the filter. Never that fond of it, I inadvertantly left it in my last house. Excited for when you get them up and running. Be careful of the one that's humming: the agitator gear is stuck. You'll have to get under her skirt and start wiggling.

SECRET CONFESSION: If I were forced to live alone on that Proverbial Island and was allowed to take only one washing machine with me, without question or deliberation, it would be the best of my two Easies--hands Down!
