Soooooo beautiful machines!!!!
And it's what I ever and ever and again have postulated: the quickest and the best machines ever built - Twin Tubs!
Absolutely gentle on washing, super versatile as you have the control, very environmental friendly as keeping the suds, very thorough because of the spiral-agitator, super fast as you can handle three loads at the same time (one will be hung-up while one is washing and the other is rinsed and spun) and very well drying because of the seperate spinner which is much more effective than nowadays slow spinning washer drums...
My Hotpoint Twinny has the same spiral-agitator plus the filter-clean tray on top, has a 3100 rpm spinner with in-built auto-rinse and can cope with 6-7 pounds at each go!
Why on earth did they stop the production in UK and Germany?
