I'm with

Aquarius on this one

I'd die before rubbing my boys down with a dryer sheet.

Each to their own, but just, no.

Re on the subject, i do have some, but almost never use them, I know to it's to be taken with a pinch of salt, but some of the stuff I've read online about them makes them sound like biological warfare. But really the long and short of it is is that they're just not that popular here (Bounce went years ago and only have 2 national brand ones and a few own/off brands)

Have never been a fan, myself. We tried them years ago when Bounce came on a roll and the other option was the 3x8 foam pieces (cling free). We had a GE dryer at the time and nearly every time we tried them, the sheet or foam would end up in the lint filter. I had some allergies and skin reactions to some of the detergents & softeners of the time, so we used as little of those products as possible and dryer sheets were among the worst offenders. Haven't used them much, if at all, since.

Here are some of the samples and types I've found over the years ---

No Sheets, Just Liquid and never on towels..

When I want scent, I use liquid. Never used liquid on towels though because it seemed to reduce the absorbency. I have to be careful with scents as both myself and hubby are sensitive to strong scents.

My dryer has an Anti Static setting. No clue what it does but it works. When I have a load that's stuck together I hit that button and it works.

Fabric softener alternatives

Personally I never use fabric softener whether liquid or in a sheet. You’re basically just adding residue to your clean clothes that can affect absorbency and also makes them more flammable. Now, obviously you’d still want soft fluffy clothes and towels so what I use is a cup of white vinegar on the last rinse cycle. This works to remove any leftover detergent and your clothes come out smelling and FEELING clean and fresh. Add some essential oils to a wet washcloth for your dryer to give a fragrance. Eliminate static by not drying your stuff until bone dry and leaving a little moisture. Not only will you never have static cling but it’ll be easier to iron too!

Unstoppables

So what does this do exactly. Just scent with no softener? My Husband loves this on our sheets but I've always been taught to put nothing on the sheets.
