I know a little off topic...but food for thought

for the dog lovers....and since it's raining....when I bring my siberian's in from the rain, I towel them off and then take 2 dryer sheets and rub them down head to tail....removes any odor from the animal.....just a helpful hint!

never go out to see if it's raining....call the dog in to see if he is wet...lol....just a little joke

anyone else with some helpful hints for dryer sheets?

Funny you should ask...

I used dryer sheets (for laundry) when I was on the road with a band in younger days. I ran out of deodorant once, and out of sheer desperation, rubbed a sheet of Bounce under my arms. Smelled great for awhile, but it didn't last long, LOL!

Just be sure you know your dog well........

I've got a red/white Border Collie (they're notorious for "pink skin", an indicator of hyper allergenic conditions of all kinds), I could easily see doing this with a Siberian because they have that natural oil layer in their fur. It sure beats having to give the critter a bath!

I remember when Downy had a "sunshine fresh" scent. I would rub a capful of Downy into my dog when rinsing him off after a bath and he would smell sunshine fresh for a couple of days. It did not seem to harm his skin at all.
