i do not use alot of fabric softener.However, I do wash alot of sheets that get tangled.One solution that i thought about is to wash a smaller load of them.Twice the fun, two loads! other than that, sheets get tangled up, even with my dryer, they are prone to that. I saw them at the Oregon State fair, I was with a family member that said to me when I walked away choice words about how she felt about them. I am not a big noise person in my laundry room.The washer and dryer are between the bedroom and the living room.
