I have a couple of Duets, 3 actually- the latter out of service. My daily driver is the older of the group, a German built 22 year old. It started throwing random F11 codes, but eventually ran, until yesterday. I know it's a communication error but I have not had the energy to moved the dryer off the unit to investigate, any suggestions where to start?

Which leads me to the second unit, a steam Duet. I replaced the bearings 12 or 14 years ago, needs a new set now. That plus it needed a new pressure sensor. I had one saved in my ebay watch list, got down to the last one available so I ordered it a week or so ago, decided to pop it in. It had been throwing SUD errors constantly so I stopped using it some time ago. I needed to do dome laundry so I transferred the stuff from one to the other. All was well till the final rinse when SUD popped up again. No suds at that point. What else can cause a SUD error with no suds?

Just to add to my frustration I initially thought I'd toss the clothes into my Kenmore electronic 90, went to power it on and nothing! Hadn't used it in some time, had a power outage a month or so ago that took out my main computer and I guess my Kenmore too.

Need to get at least one machine up and running, open to suggestions on where to start.

The F11 looks like the typical issue of diagnosing that - it's a communication error between drive unit and main control.
At that age really could be either or even both.
If boards are even still available it's probably outrageously expensive. But there might be repair services for the boards.
It's more likely it's the drive unit - they have way bigger power draw, so ageing caps can cause them to "crash" whenever they try to start driving the motor.
But if it is a time sensitive issue, and the machine is old and a collectible, getting both reworked in one move might be the best option.

There is I think the service manual online, that might have pointers to check certain voltages and any other trouble shooting pointers.

The SUD issue was a pretty common thing back in the day.
I think the service manual also indicated which situations could cause that display.
Stuff along the line of the pressure switch not reading correctly - so maybe some hose to the pressure sensor being obstructed, or drain issues in general.

Some had to replace the control unit I think.
It's one of these annoying ghost hunt issues.

A completely dead machine after electrical occurrences in the house often isn't that big of an issue.
If that machine has a separate line filter unit like for example some LGs have, those often lead to a completely dead machine.
Unfortunately, like some ELux machines, those filter components are sometimes built into the main control and then you are at the same point as with the Duets - either get the board repaired or get a new one.
