So those sheets sat with the stains on them until about 6pm eastern time. About 2 1/2 hours. I also found some other sheets I am throwing with them. I had one that had some various dirt stains on it that were allowed to dry and never came out. however I washed these sheets in my friends Duet and I think they all came out. So I am hopeful for the tomato/jelly stains. We'll see.

So I am also throwing in this pair of gloves I used last weekend for yard work. They literally have been soaking all week with detergent. Really, you may ask, as I did when I first put them in the bucket. "Why don't I just throw them out?" All the fingers are worn through. lol. This is their last wash thats for sure.

I would use Hot

I usually never use bleach except for really stubborn stains on whites that will not come out after it has been washed. Although my machine is a cold fill, and the water heats up as the clothes are washing, I have found that my clothes do really well in a FL, moreso than a TL.Plus, the pre wash is usually cold, in my machine that is 85 F.The highest temp, which I only use for sheet clients, is 190 F
they have held up great. I believe that dirt will wear something out faster than hot water. When the temp is bumped up in steps, it is much easier on the fabrics.I almost never wash anything with elestic on anything past 140 F, unless it is really dirty, soak is great for that. You have a Gorgious washer.Enjoy it.Good luck on your first load. With Hot, I think that you will be amazed.

I can't wait to see the reults! As for that being a full load, it's not! The great thing about this washer is you can actually stuff it! Granted, you don't want to be struggling to get the door closed, but because of the wash action, you can REALLY fill it up!!! When we first got our Duet washer, I did 2 weeks worth of laundry in one load! That's 14 full outfits!

Thanks for the comments. It feels cool being able to share this stuff with others who appreciate it.

So the rinse finish and I set it to soak

at the point of 15 minutes left in the cycle.

It is sooo quiet in general. but when it is doing the soak it will turn for a second and then sit for 10 seconds and you wonder if there is something wrong. awesome.
