Removing Stickers
Stickers can usually be removed from anything -- including fairly delicate paper stock -- using lighter fluid. Forget about Goo-Gone, which is smelly and oily and hard to clean up.
I know it sounds completely wrong, but plain, old Zippo-type lighter fluid (I get it cheap from Walgreens) will remove the stickers without damaging the paper. Just lightly soak the sticker, wait a bit, then carefully peel off the sticker. The adhesive residue can be removed with a paper towel wetted with lighter fluid.
I hope I don't need to add that you shouldn't smoke, and you should keep away from flames while doing this.
It's agony waiting for the item to dry, but you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results.
