dw probs

anyone having a prob with cascade dishwasher det? the powder kind? dont know why but it foams up to much in my machine then causes the machine to leak? any idea?

Do you have

soft water? Naturally occurring, or mechanically softened water? Soft water makes more suds. Lots more suds.

Are you using more than enough to fill the cups?

Chris I use cascade in the free Sears DW and have suds problems if I use too much

I usually use 1 teaspoon and get great results
I use 150 degree water in the DW

nope

am using less than half of the det cup holds.. it dosnt do this with a diff brand only cascade guess they changed something. but it only does it in the one machine not in the maytag or older ka

"BTW" as I've mentioned before, I'm using the Wal-Mart Great Value Powder and I'm very pleased with it and it's cleaning ability.

Hi Chris, I have the same problem with Cascade so have given up on it. I like Crystal Shine which I get at Menards. Terry

thanks for the info at least im not the only one having probs. so thats an easy fix no more cascade
