Dysons new AirBlade

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Seen it a couple days ago - what's interesting is that they make a point about normal hand dryers being unhygienic. However, they don't point out that you're going to get germs on your hands anyway from going out the toilets, from the "walkers".

Looks a bit gimmicky to me, though interesting.

Dyson

have also just releaed a new hand held hoover, seen it in the new Argos leaflet. Looks funky but its £100 for essentially a dust buster.

Il stick to my Electrolux upright which knocks the spots of Dysons anyday!

I saw the hand dryer in the daily mail night before last. how many hundreds of miles per hour air flow lol?

dont let Richard Hammond near one!!!!!!!!!!!!

That kind of hand drying is common in Asia. In the US we use dryer that don't offer any kind of filters, just circulated air. Reports have found that it's better not to even use those things at all.

UGH! I hate hand dryers!

I just despise those stupid hand dryers in public washrooms. Sometimes I won't even bother washing my hands if I see those hated dryers. You stand there for 3 minutes waiting for the d#$%ed thing to get your hands dry and you STILL must wipe them off on your pants.

Airblade

I love that Dyson hand dryer. I think the main point is it has no heater in it and therefore saves huge amounts of electricity. Those World dryers are about 2kws and if you think how many are in use around the globe the airblade is a huge improvement in energy use. Its only about £100 more than the world dryer to buy at about £549 so payback is fairly quick as well. The world is full of germs anyway you cant avoid them. Lifes too short to worry. Well done Mr Dyson. More of this please. Now i really think he should come up with some free energy device to power all his machines.
