Finally no rain here and this is off my dock.

taken by son's wife in August, looking toward Plattsburgh NY and the Adirondacks:

The little line in the water just below the NY shoreline is the old railroad causeway, now a bike/hike trail, between Colchester Point VT on the left and South Hero (island) on the R (behind the branches), which goes all the way up to Canada. Lake Champlain is 110 mi long.

Beautiful this time of year, but in the winter it's wicked cold!

oh and that little speck in the middle...

is a good sized boat! The old RR causeway is about 5 mi out from shore.
