This looks like an early Kenmore compact dryer. I don't think I have ever seen one like this. I'd love to see the washer that went with it.

Spotted! The smallest, oldest Kenmore portables I've ever seen
Across the street from our shop is another. He sells all used and specializes in Whirlpool and Kenmore. He has this portable roll around set there and they've got to be the oldest portables I've ever seen. I thought they were toys at first but after a closer look, they're real enough. Small,too...

Fook Mi (Austin Powers). I thought my 1984 was "old".
This was the dryer from the pair with some ties to Procter Silex. The washer was not an automatic, but just a wringer machine with a dark blue porcelain tub and a gravity drain hose, sort of the whole wringer laundry mess in miniature. These were not sold in the appliance department in the big Sears store on Ponce de Leon in Atlanta, but rather in the department down the aisle on the same floor that sold irons and folding clothes drying racks.
