Early Norge range

This is the earliest Norge has range I've ever seen. Looks like a tank!
Anyone know anything about the neat icebox shown in one of the pics?

Has a wood burning attachment on it, those gas burners are the BEST IMHO, the flame burns inward rather than outward, Norge called it the  Spiralator  burner.

Interesting how they put the NORGE badge way down at the bottom.

 

I noticed those burners too, Hans.  They look like the type found on a big time restaurant range.

 

I wonder what the story is behind these two beautiful items.

When I saw the first picture it reminded me of a wood cook stove. I wonder if these gas/wood stoves were a partnership between 2 manufacturers. It Looks like a wood stove base. So easy to clean under too.
