So in the US it`s still considered unmanly even for college boys to shave or at least trim their armpits ?

At how nasty some of the college students are today---maybe eating the detergent pods may just clean them up!Glad I am not their instructor!

Well, I do it and some of my friends do. If you use a roll on deodorant, it's better to put it on a shaved armpit than on armpit hair. You need less deodorant and it gives less allergic reactions.

But I thought hairy arm pits and legs was a French Woman thing.
Seriously, most males (that I know of) don't shave anything below the neck.
PODS are delicious with a nice pasta and a red wine. Rather than garlic breath, you have a nice floral aftertaste. Later the bathroom has a spring fresh bouquet.

Well, I don't shave my legs. ;-)
However few, if any, drag queens go Olympic swimming. At least not fully clothed.

I think it`s absolutely OK if a French or any other girl decided for herself to refuse the pressure from society and just let it grow.
As long as there`s so many guys out there who think it`s perfectly all right to combine shorts and white sport socks I won`t point my finger at those revolting girls.
I was only wondering why there seems to be a preference among American men to leave their armpit hair untouched.
In Germany and I think in most parts of the EU the majority of men don`t wear a lot of body hair these days anymore because most of their girlfriends or wives don`t want them to. Not sure about Russia or eastern Europe where homophobia is still a big thing. Would be interesting to know.
However, whatever you wear (trimmed, shaved or full length) I thought it`s usually done more or less equally. You don`t want to look like a poodle. Maybe I just missed a new trend...

I think it is ok for males to allow their natural hair to grow without succumbing to peer pressure to remove their growth.
Exceptions in both male and female cases. Though most of the natural males I know bathe with soap and water as well as use a deodorant product on a regular basis. I have known some of the natural women who do not. Fine with me that they want to smell like an outhouse, just not pleasant when stuck with them in an elevator on a hot day. Tide Pods may be a good thing for them to use.
