Well it was 7 years old.....

maybe some one should send him a message suggesting that he put a number "2" before the "7"

that 9536 might be the one i tried to buy a few months ago! too full now though.

i feel the urge to trawl - wonder what there will be?

The Hoover Electron

....is the same as mine and mine was made in May 1986, 22 years old! 7 years indeed!! If these people really wanted a good sell they should write retro on there and plenty of people would be interested!

This Hottie twin tub is the in town 5 mins from me, I might think about it, depending on the bids it gets.

The door handle had cracked on my 9534 too, but they are dead easy to replace, and only about £2 I seem to remember.

Wish I had room for more machines. If the elusive Electrolux WD3000T ever appears I'm getting it if I have to go to the Shetlands for it!

Ps do you know how to update your profile on here?

Gary,

Click on Members Profiles on the Imperial, Deluxe and Super page then at the top of that list will be a button you can click to alter your profile.

Yes a right cheeky tease, it was nothing more than the new addition washing machine wise to our collection,

A super 96702 to match the 95620 etc.

Heres another shot - im sure we will make a thread when one of us gets time to sit down and organise one,

Rob and Paul

Hotpoint Toploaders

Lovely machines,

If I had to choose a Hotpoint above all others it would be a toploading automatic (any of them), I loved the one i had, it washed well, and was well made and a joy to use, if I had the space i would have kept it

Congratulations lads

Cheers Gary,

Its a cracking washer - we had Alex aka SuperElectronic over last weekend where we got it going. I would starst a thread had I got the pics on my PC but they are alas on Pauls.

Been a rather coupla lucky weeks.

Electrolux cylinders, Hoover Sensotronics and yesterday we popped across to a local appliance shop thats closing down and relieved them of a 5ft PHILCO illuminated sign, some obsolete vac bags, working LG Direct Drive demo thing and fingers crossed a ton of literature they kept over the years - when he finds it.

The guy who owns it was a mega source of info - so much so that I thought we would make an axcellent guest at the next wash in.

Il pop down this week and see what else he has uncovered.

The Joy!

bit of an early Xmas Prezzie off ebay this week....

We need more space in our kitchen ! and so have just ordered

Hmm...

I think they may live to regret that decision lol....

Seamus

Possible regret on the horizon

He he well said Seamus, god forbid they have bought a "budget" one aswell as this will only add to their "regret"
Ah well shoudnt laugh really it is because of people doing this sort of thing that we get the machines we do ;-)
