Electronic KM dryer not working - help?

A friend has a KM electronic control dryer similer to the one pictured (I borrowed this photo from another thread). It's not working and gives an "AU" error code on the display and the tech sheet is missing.

Can any of you out there tell me what the "AU" error code means?

It means, "Awwwwww, I'm broken."

AU is not an error code. That means it's in Automatic Dry, not timed dry.

My 1993 Whirlpool electric control dryer does the same thing, AU means automatic dryer sensing. If you put in a time for drying you will see a numerical count down.

Thank you very much for the info on this AU "error code"!!

I relayed that info to my friend and he said, "Oh, OK, but I still can't get it to start or run..." Hmmm.......
