Emergency situation in U.S.A.

Hello friends!

I just watched on TV some news about a tornado, hurricane or something like that but I couldn't hear where it was and what exactly happened, number of victims or damages, etc...

This is too sad to hear.

How bad is the situation? What really happened? Is there something I (or we) can do to help those people?

This link might be what was on news. We were lucky in this part of Ky think god for that. We are on the boarder of four states it hit. But we just got lots and lots of rain and high winds here.

Have not watched any tv so have not seen the local news today.

And they were within 40-50 miles of Springfield. This has been one of the WORST tornado seasons in decades.

It has been said that with global warming the resulting climactic changes will be quite severe and deadly, overall.

Was anyone here watching the weather channel back when OKC F5 plus tornado was just forming? I was and remember that day as if it was yesterday. I knew right of the bat that that storm was of Biblical proportions. When that England guy in OKC sai8d that the only way to survive this storm was to be underground, I got chillbumps. 318 plus winds? My gosh. I may be proved wrong but I doubt that any of us here will ever see or here of a storm like that one again in our lifetimes.

Wildfires are sprouting up all around Central Florida.
Ugh!- I hope this is not a precursor of what's to come this summer.
