End of Laundry

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

oh honey PUH-LEAZE replace laundry?

I think it's ok to rewear a well aired-out shirt (in the winter)if one always wears an undershirt.

Ditto trousers. Can be reworn if well aired and one wears undergarments.

I like fresh undergarments for the day and for the night, unless of course one is going out on a date and the other person likes them to be able to be smelled coming into the room before you do, or to be able walk on their own.........

too bad that...

...the clothes are still dirty.

I agree about rewearing clothing btw. Sweaters, especially -- I am usually wearing a shirt AND an undershirt under a sweater. So unless I spill something on it, wearing it once and washing it willw ear it out by washing, not wearing.

Hiding Odors

Its like the swiffer for clothes.I tried these floor products. They hide dirt, there is nothing like getting down on your hands and knees and scrubbing a floor or hand dusting furniture.I wax my stove and washer and dryer and frigidair. They shine and stay cleaner longer.People are lazy today as far as housework is concerned.I worked at Ma bell for 30 years and visited about 5or6 homes daily fixing jacks and wire. You would not believe how dirty homes can be,and I dont mean a few,Bobby

It's like going back to the dark ages...

...when folk did a wash once a week!

P&G's design team should be taken outside and shot. It is just giving people the excuse they need to stink to high heaven. I'll bet it's got 'Febreze' anti-whiff deodorants in it.

What next, a product that saves you washing dishes in a dishwasher??? Ridiculous!

You're right, Bobby - there is nothing like washing a floor on your hands and knees with a rag and a bucket of proper cleaning solution. Sweep, dust mop, vacuum, etc., then get down there and wash that floor!

Swiffer & the like are fine for quick cleaning and touch-up cleaning of spots but the floor will never be as "clean as it can be".

For clothes - there is no substitute for a good thrashing in a washing machine or dry cleaning machine. I'm all about wearing a sweater that hasn't undergone anything nasty and maybe a pair of trousers or pants that have had an easy wearing, but there is a limit to the epidermal matter I can imagine embedded in the fibers of my clothes before it must be flushed away.
