First thread in awhile, trying to figure out how to out the escapement assembly back together. Took the timer apart since it only wanted to turn by the dial face, took it apart and corrected that issue. Then, it didn’t want to advance after putting it together exactly as I found it. Decided to look into the escapement assembly, took it apart but there’s a high tension spring that didn’t necessarily shoot off into space, but popped out. Put it back together but something didn’t seem quite right. Anyone know how the escapement goes together, or have photos of how it goes together? Just am a bit stumped on how it goes together. Will post photos tomorrow sometime.

It’s the assembly that connects to the timer motor which helps move the cam assembly every so often on the timer. I think I might’ve gotten back together right, but seems to advance abruptly when I tried to advance it manually though the timer motor runs at a constant speed so it advances correctly. Maybe I’ll try running it as-is and see what happens today.

I’ll try to get a few more photos later, but here’s what part of the escapement assembly looks like. The thing that’s throwing me off is that spring.

Update

Ended up figuring it out. Next, will to to install it back in the machine and give it a test to see how it does. Probably won’t be until I do a partial refurbishment and cleanup of the machine.
